The difference between DTG printing, DTF printing, UV printing, Screen printing , Sublimation printing and embroidery

Hi im Kevin and welcome to my blog, today I will be explaining the difference between DTG printing DTF printing UV printed screen printing sublimation and embroidery.

First DTG printing. DTG printing or direct to garment printing is detailed and applies ink  directly to garments however it can be slow and works best on cotton garments.

DTF printers (direct to film) print on a film and you transfer it to any garment. It’s bright and colorful as well.

UV printing uses ultraviolet light to cure ink on hard materials and is precise and durable.

Screen or Film printing is cost effective for large orders. It uses stencil or film designs and applies ink directly onto the garment. It’s quick and efficient but also less detailed.

Sublimation printing uses heat to transfer dye into the fabric making long lasting vibrant prints.

Embroidery. Embroidery is commonly used for logos and small designs, from hats to even jeans. Embroidery adds texture, or textile to whatever it’s on and is often made on premium items.

That’s all the printing methods and the difference between them. Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog!
